On 19th September 2025, the IEBC Staff Pension Scheme held an Online Member Awareness Session to engage members and enhance their understanding of the Scheme’s operations. The virtual session, which forms part of the Scheme’s regulatory requirement to conduct member education, provided an important platform for members to learn about key aspects of Pension Administration, Member Rights and Responsibilities, Nomination of Beneficiaries, Taxation, and Scheme Products such as the Post-Retirement Medical Fund (PRMF), Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVC), Income Drawdown (IDD), and the Trust Fund.
Members also had the opportunity to interact with the Scheme’s Trustees, RBA, Administrator, and Fund Managers, who addressed various queries raised during the interactive session. The session reaffirmed the Scheme’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and continuous member education.
The interactive session attracted wide participation from members across the country and received positive feedback. The Trustees assured their commitment to continuous member engagement and financial literacy to ensure members make informed retirement decisions.
